I had an amazing experience with Dr Schaffer. She took the time to walk me through the entire procedure, made sure I was comfortable and informed, and truly went above and beyond to get everything done right. I didn’t feel any pain during the procedure, and my recovery was smooth and easy. What really stood out was how much she cared—she even followed up the next day to make sure I was feeling good and happy with the results. This was a tough procedure, but she handled it with such precision and professionalism that I can’t imagine having gone anywhere else. I’m incredibly grateful for the care she provided and would recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate dentist.

I feel welcomed and in good hands here. My dental hygienist & dentist are both comforting, knowledgeable, and efficient —and VERY personable! I've noticed a difference in how my dental health has felt too (I've had about 2 appointments now?) which is definitely a HUGE reason I decided to continue coming here. But I will say, I believe the people make the place and this is one of those places. Good work and good people :)

I've been a very satisfied patient of Dr. Lindsay and his team for several years. Nobody likes going to the dentist, but if you are wise enough to care for your teeth on a regular basis you won't find a more compassionate, honest, trustworthy, clean and competent dental practice than Balcones Dental. They have always treated me and my entire family with the utmost respect and in a very personable manner. They truly care about you... your health, your needs versus wants, your schedule, your budget, everything that goes into making treatment decisions. I highly recommend Balcones Dental to anyone looking for a practice that caters to people who are afraid of or have anxiety about a stranger looking in their mouth. Their office also uses the latest technology and equipment. Each one on the treatment team is the very best, most gentle and caring professional you will find, or else they wouldn't be working in that office. Update 8-1-21...As a patient, I recently participated in a dental implant seminar sponsored by Dr. Lindsay and was very impressed with the overall experience it offered to myself as well as the professional dental community. Achievement to such a high level of expertise and accomplishment in any medical practice demonstrates excellence for everyone associated with it. I'm all Smiles! Dr. Lindsay and his staff have gone out of their way to follow up with me and resolve any issues after every procedure performed in their office.

I’d been going to Balcones Dental for years without issue, but my recent visit was awful. I needed a crown and repeatedly told them I didn’t want a root canal unless done by a specialist. Dr. Schaefer dismissive and rough, ignoring my requests. She jabbed my nerve, blew cold air on it, and caused unnecessary pain, all while I was flinching and asking her to stop. She finally gave me the referral I’d asked for but left my tooth and jaw in worse shape. I won’t be returning.

These people overcharge for nonsense. They have no idea what they are talking about. They no longer offer a discount program to those without insurance. Dr Luke Johnson was great, but he left. They did not tell me and charged me to see someone unfamiliar without my consent. Do not waste your time and money here. They will leave you high and dry in your time of need.
