I’m so glad I found this dentist after basically a year or so looking for a dentist. I finally got recommended to this one and I just can’t say enough about them. They are caring, They tend to your needs very friendly I highly recommend them. 😁

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Dr. Alejandro San Jorge’s dental team. I have been a loyal patient for almost 20 years, but recently had the unfortunate experience of missing a cleaning appointment. I mistakenly thought my appointment was on Friday when it was actually on Thursday. As soon as I realized my error, I immediately called the office to explain. To my surprise, I was told I would be charged a $50 no-show fee. While I understand the importance of policies, all I asked for was a small gesture of courtesy, given my long-standing relationship with the practice. I was told that waiving the fee was not possible due to corporate policy. This response left me feeling that, after almost two decades of trust and loyalty, the human element of patient care has been lost. It seems that since Dr. San Jorge joined this new practice, the focus has shifted more toward strict policies than fostering the relationships he once built with his patients. While I do not wish any harm to the doctor or his team, it’s clear that they prioritize profit over long-term patient loyalty. As a result, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. I hope that, in the future, the practice might reconsider how they balance policy with customer care.

I chose this office because of the positive reviews and it ended up nearly costing me thousands of dollars. The staff at the front desk was very attentive and helpful, but the dentist who examined my teeth said that my gums were so bad, that I needed to come in every quarter for $1000 worth of treatments each time, paid out of pocket. He didn't offer to show me what was wrong in the x-rays and when I had asked, he stood in front of the display as if to block my view even though I told him I couldn't see them. His assistant was able to explain what was wrong but his defensive behavior was enough for me to realize I needed a second opinion. So I found another doctor who looked at my teeth and they found nothing wrong. Don't come here if you value your time and have HMO insurance plan.

I enjoyed my experience at this office, especially because I was able to be seen for a cleaning as well as an initial exam for the same appointment. The x-rays were very thorough. The office staff members were very nice, and parking is free. I would recommend Dental Team of Miami!
